I have been reading through HotDQ and it looks decent but not outstanding. I have yet to get into the details of some of it though.

i don't think I want to run a save-the-world AP this campaign. I have done that sort of thing for my last few campaigns and this time I would rather do smaller unconnected stories. I will probably use bits of pieces of HotDQ.

Ah yes, this is the point where the word "railroad" becomes synonymous with "anything that has a story of any kind".

I hope WotC isn't too enamoured with Paizo's 'save the world' model for every one of its adventure series. Lots of cool things for adventurers to do besides save the kingdom/world from the dragon/necromancer/demonlord.
