Holy Crap! I just played in the worst D&D game...

I don't get it. That just sounds like every game I've ever played in.

EDIT: Except without the Saiyans.

No Sayans! That sucks. How can you get even more monty haul if you can't keep going up Super Sayan levels? Obviously you are having Bad/Wrong/Fun.

Aside from the PvP aspects, that sounds super-awesome.
Heh. For me, it sounds like four hours of my life I'd never get back, and an addition to my "if it's not a good time, it's a good story" stock. Different strokes. :)

I wish you could post some stats, because I'd like to see how they handled some of those characters.

Sounds like it could have been fun, actually. Like the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen + Spirit of the Century turned to eleven.

It's not always about the epic. Sometimes its about the giggles.

Right on! I just traded my copy of HERO FRED for Rifts Ultimate and a couple of sourcebooks for this very reason. Sometimes, having fun with games means not taking them too seriously (or seriously at all).

Almost 20 years ago, I was invited to a game once. I had understood it was a Runequest game. So I created an appropriate character. But then, it appeared that this group had mixed three or four games (with different set of game mechanics) together. Like Runequest + D&D + whatever just thrown like that together without any coherence. The result was awful and incomprehensible; an inept nonsense with uber-powerful almost unkillable player characters. I couldn't even fathom how they did play, despite I knew the rules of each individual game they had merged. I also remember that these players did smoke a certain kind of herb during the gaming session... It may explain it. :\ (Needless to say, I never came back.)

Well, you could have told me you weren't coming back face to face instead of just announcing it to the public.

This is why we don't let Joe DM anymore. It's odd how his play style and writing style are so different.

Kind of like my "crippled Dr Who character" story from GenCon. Sure the game sucked, but I will have that story forever.

Na, the worst game I ever had was a first edition game back in 82'. It was hours of walking in the park, staying at people's houses and non combat stuff. I couldn't believe it, no combat what so ever. We just walked down the road waving our hands at the farmers giving us non plot news about their farm. I was glad this guy never came back. :)
