Holy Crap! This book is HUGE!

Hey Ulorian! Thanee is right. The DLE has both systems. The standard contains D20 only (& at a later date Tri-Stat only). Both books come with the same beautiful art work but the DLE is just too nice for me to take to the gaming table (gold leaf borders, leatherette cover, cloth bookmark, ect) so I purchased a D20 version as well. At one time those that bought the DLE also rec'ed a free PDF of the game as well as free adventure & GM screen (though both are available now as PDF too & will be mailed at a later date). Thanks Thanee and Maester Luwin. Seeing as I have no idea what Tri-Stat is, and am not turned on by leatherette in any way, I'll be sticking with the standard d20 edition.

Hey Ulorian! Sorry about that. Tri-Stat is Guardians of Order's house system & is available as a free download on their web site. I have never played it & they modified it to better repersent AGoT "feel". I play the D20 system in my campign & it captures the atmosphere of the novels perfectly! I am sure the D20 will work fine for you. Thanks Maester Luwin

I got the pre-order deal and waited the year + for delivery. If you could wait, you got a complietary pdf (and yet to be delivered screen/adverture). I love this book, although I agree, it'd be hard to bring to the gaming table. It's almost like one of those Easton Press leatherbound classics - but bigger. I tend to use the pdf for rules and just page through the book.

Yup, i got the Deluxe version. In retrospect, i wish i had the cheaper d20 one. I don't use TriStat, adn the cover for the d20 version has much better artwork (imo). Plus the damn slipcover always falls off the deluxe. Great book though.

I own the DLE and it is massive. Also beautiful, mechanically and artfully so.

Anyone know when the Tri-Stat version will be availble for purchase? I'd like to add it to my collection.
