Home Brew Rules for Rituals.

Thadeous

First Post
I just put up a rather large post outlining my home brew rules for rituals in 4th edition. My goal is to make them more enjoyable, useful and allow players to use them to their full potential. Check it out at mydndgame.net

I'm not trying to advertise, but I don't want to recreate the whole 1900 word post here. I'm posting this because I would enjoy some feedback and suggestions for making my rituals rules work even better.

Any help would be appreciated.

The only thing I read there that was a true "house rule" would be the storing a ritual for an instant cast minor action later. The Magister can do a similar trick with his level 30 epic destiny break the rules thing, just to give you an idea of the power level of it. If you're okay with that, I'm certainly okay with that.

Everything else is just a better utilization of the rules already put out there. Kudos for bringing them to a fun and interesting light :).

Really? I kind of thought diminishing casting time, allowing players to store rituals in a focus of their own creation, and allowing players to forage for materials were all homebrew rules.

There are already items that allow you to store a ritual for later, and faster release. You have to prep the ritual, but it's there. I'll dig around and find which dragon it was, exactly.
