Well, "procurer" for one, but it doesn't roll off the tongue in quite the same way, does it?

Yeah that's the word all the translation tools spat out, but i'm not satisfied... Isn't a procurer some sort of lawyer? Isn't there a word closer to "proxenetism"?

I cannot say how much I am offended by anyone using the word "pimp".

I'm guessing that you are not offended at ALL, beacuse you are enlightened enough to know that language evolves by accepted slang usage?

The context my group uses is when one character strikes the killing blow on a monster that another character has done most of the damage to. The second character's player would say "You pimped my kill!"

Mind you, this is more aggravating in campaigns where the character that strikes the killing blow gets more experience points for the monster. Thankfully, that no longer happens in campaigns I play in.
