*waves* hi guys, I was looking though the adventure and it seems that it doesn't take in to account what would happen if one of the players is a member of house cannith. The party has already gone through all the previous adventures with the house cannith character, with out much trouble but the ending to grasp of the emerald claw seems like it would matter quite a bit if the party has ties to them. I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions to what should happen assuming they complete the adventure and either give the schema to cannith east or west? or have any other ideas on who they should turn the thing over to?

House Cannith is divided into 3 groups: East, West, and South. There is a lot of tension between those houses. I think the PC is presumed to be from the house that is most readily available in Sharn (West or South? It's been a long time), which is not the house that is represented as the antagonists in the adventures.

Of course, I don't know what changes in Grasp, so maybe there will be some upcoming character conflict?

You came to the right place, frog. Somoene on here will be able to answer your question, along with a lecture on the house and how each splinter group relates to one another. Expect some fancy words to be used, too.

Scott, if you are here.. go away!!

I have a PC who is a member of house Cannith who is from the East house. There has been a lot of secret messages flying between him, his patron (East), the adventure's patron(South posing as West), etc. He still doesn't know exactly what's going on, and he's not sure he wants the Schemas to fall into anyones hands. His Cannith East patron actaully has him following the same trail as the emerald claw, to make sure he ends up with the schemas. The PC actually turned over most of the pieces (not all, the sneaky bastard) to the Emerald Claw, who were posing as Cannith East people.

Anyway, in the end, I beleive the characters will decide to destroy the schema, so I'm not too worried about who ends up with it. It will be interesting to see if he catches on to the fact that East & Emerald Claw are in it together...

Well, I guess more background on the character might help. Abel(the character) is from cyre, so he has tried not to align himself with a faction in his house. He is a strong patriot, so strong that if the war had not ending he would have left his house to fight for Cyre. He has no strong bonds in his house due to every family member that he was close to was a victim of the mourning. I guess faction wise he would be closest to Cannith south as he lives in Sharn.
I guess something else that comes in to my head is do you think The Twelve would be willing to take the schema from the party? What do you think they would do with it?
well anyways thanks for you input guys :p
