House Rules stuff, PLEASE HELP!!!?!?!?

I am {semi}working on a Bloodlines concept which eliminates 'Half-x' races in favor of using the humans free feat for a Blooded feat which provides the half-x abilities in a template fashion. {current waiting 'free' time and on RC to share his great start in the project... ;) }

This could tie into regional 'blooded' feats for humans, providing templatish benefits.

One of the trade off's is that Bane weapons only work against Blooded characters, not pure humans...

Of course, this is in early phases.. so I am interested in what sort of regional bennies folks think would be appropriate. Of course, my current game is Ebberon so I am more focused on that arena than others. But generic 'regions', such as borderland farmer/hunter rather than nationality would work as well.

swordsmasher, what other regional types are you using/after?

There's a STACK of regional abilities listed in Faerun (pick a book, any book, there's a racial variant in there).

If you're going Short Sword, you may want to call it a Gladius. More exciting. And, I believe that Short Swords are simple, so giving everyone proficiency with them as a Regional ability doesn't strike me as unbalanced at all.

Why would you arm your slaves? Just curious.

The reroll thing vs. the +1 thing: First question, why are they Lucky? I'm with the majority here, I don't see it. Reroll is generally considered overpowered, and the +1 is done elsewhere more effectively, so I'd nix them both.
