Nope, the uproar has been pretty bad for awhile. And huge swaths of people still can't play it due to crashes.

Yes, but my point is that it's still too early to tell what the fallout is. We won't know how it's affected the brand as a whole until we see whether it's affected WotC's plans at all, and we don't know what their plans are, so no one can really answer your question with anything other than pure speculation and maybe a few educated guesses.

I actually enjoy the game. The people most butthurt about SCL are hardcore D&D players and I'm pretty sure D&D video games aren't designed for hardcore D&D players.
