D&D (2024) How did I miss this about the Half races/ancestries

There are a ton of great writing Discords and other forums for folks who need help navigating more carefully, chock full of fantasy fans to boot. There are also a lot of good YouTube series that can help with these topics. The resources are out there! They just take caring enough to learn.

I mean that's the dream for anyone!

But realistically, no, it's for a home group only. I just like to ensure everything is ok for public consumption just for that little 0.000001% chance I get somewhere with it.

This is a lazy, uninspired and boring way to represent the half races. They shouldn't have the full traits of one or the other. The blending should create new traits or at a minimum a blend of the traits of the two races.

Like with all this focus on race/species, is having a polymorphic species ok? Similar to how ants have different sized individuals? (but not in a colony and with proper free will unlike ants).

Edit: I didn't mean sexual dimorphism. The different species morphs would be entirely separate to sex and gender.
