How do i Convert AD&D (F9/T11) into the 3.5 level system?

This cleared it up a bit for me thanks. Normally ive just been lazy and scowered en world for pre done 1E>3.5 but havent found anything for this one so having to learn. My main issue is i dont want to have to do it all in advance. I have made a table on my DM screen that has all the BAB listings, im intending to use this and just leave their spells the same and take average rolls for HP. Do any of you see any problems with this aproach?

I don't have a problem with that at all. I'd consider padding up the table a bit to include base saves, the ranks a maxed out skill would have, and other things you might not remember off the top of your head (sneak attack dice, etc).

Since it is free and what I do I won't consider this to be bad form but here is what I do, NPC Designer and select the class and skills I want to see in the new NPC and press generate. It handles all the math and other areas for me, if I don't like the results for whatever reason, I tweak it and press generate again. It is available for download on my site for free.
