We had an interisting use for a rope trick. We knew where there was a room with a teleportation circle and we were being chaced but not extremely closely. we went into the room but not into the circle cast the rope trick and put it above the extrance door. most of people chasing us went through the teleportation circle only the ranger and another guy didn't but before they figured out what actually happened we dropped down on their heads. we were also hoping to be able to sleep in our rope trick but that didn't happen. luckily we had a second one. and moved to another location later and recast it with myself (with a ring of sustinence) and the elves taking watch.
there is a 0 level spell from relics and riturals called steal sleep. I'm not sure how it works (I don't have the book in front of me) there is a spell in The Book of Eldritch Might 3 called blissful sleep it doesn't help you sleep faster or anything but you can sleep anywhere under any conditions. like the middle of a battle.
