How do I learn Chi Techniques?

How does one learn Chi techniques? Are these chosen as Universal Exploits, can they be taken in lieu of a normal career Exploit, or do they come from another mechanism?

If you learn a Stance with a 1-pt Chi cost discount for being an associated style stance, is the minimum cost 1 or can they be reduced to 0?

One caveat - unlike OLD and NEW, NOW hasn't been heavily playtested yet. It's scheduled for after OLD and NEW. So bear in mind the rules specific to it (CHI and vehicles, basically) might change between now and print. So think of CHI as beta.

CHI techniques are essentially universal exploits, and follow the standard rules for acquiring them. They're arranged into 'stances' which are little exploit ladders. It is very likely that martial arts traditions will grant multiple free 1-CHI techniques in the same way that some magical careers grant two or more secrets, but I have not written that yet.

The minimum cost is, indeed, 1 CHI.

Thanks for the quick reply. That is what I thought after seeing the magic career discounts, but I wasn't sure if I was missing something in the reference document.
