How do I take this seriously?

One of the players/part-time DMs in my group (who posts on EN World actually) is deathly afraid of snakes.

Whatever you do, don't buy realistic plastic snakes and sneak them onto his chair when he goes to the bathroom. That would be horrible.

I guess I already do stuff like that though. I have occasionally put the yuanti mini on the chair he normally sits in and then pushed it under the table before he came to the session.

Usually the others players said I was being a jerk. Oh well, there always has to be one.

I like snaky thing. Yep it's ridiculous but kinda cool. It makes me smily yes, but it's also creepy. So works for me. Laughing at your opponent is common mistake people make, even in real life. It's not important who laughts first but who get's the last laught. Or shy bow of respect for fallen one.
