Did the DM ever explain what the deal was with all the divinations not working? It sounds like bad DMing, to be honest.

The whole "war in heaven" thing could have thrown a kink in the divination pipeline, too.

No. All of the speculated-on possibilities could have covered it (nonstandard SR, divine intervention, or bad DMing). But now it's water under the bridge.

What, all those buff spells and nobody had a See Invisibility up?

Would you believe, the wizard didn't have that spell? And the cleric chose to use a scroll of true seeing several hours before the battle on something silly. Ah well. It did make the battle more nerve-wracking, as we (at first) couldn't figure out why the damn dragon just wouldn't die.

Now, about finding her lair....


Note: that's a joke, folks. You don't have to post a bunch of stuff about how to find a dragon's lair. We actually know roughly where it is. And yes, we know it's likely to be heavily trapped and guarded.
