How do you find new RPG books/games?

There is SO MUCH content out there today, I'm wondering how most folks are discovering new games and books. Do you notice ads? Read newsletters? Watch actual play? How the heck do you find new stuff that you like? I keep running across things that I'm surprised I didn't already know about, and I'm wondering where other folks discover new stuff!

I would not be running Armour Astir: Advent or Beam Saber had I not heard about the on Friends at the Table, an actual play podcast.

I tend to rely on recommendations from folks here or elsewhere online. I also keep my eye on a handful of websites and youtube channels for reviews and the occasional actual play.

Basically, I learn about them as part of my general news routine plus recommendations from friends. And the German RPG forum I am active on has a thread where people post stuff they have recently bought (and another one for pre-oders and crowdfundings). That thread plus Twitter/Facebook and a bit of advertising via Kickstarter and BackerKit from creators that I have previously supported are probably the main sources to learn about a game first (I still like and read the news and interviews here on ENWorld, but I mostly already know about the games when they show up here).

Nowadays it all from online activity - mostly forums like this one.

With that said, I'm more of a delve deep dude than taking small samples of everything. But I still want to keep in touch with new stuff.

So online communities like this one would fall under Other? That seemed a bit odd.

But yeah, online forums tends to be my main source, followed by Friends (fellow gamers) and a distant third FLGS. The last one is a major source of impulse buys though.

So to be fair, in my OWN mind "Friends" referred to places like ENWorld forums. That's the problem with only living in your own head.

Being an old geezer I wanted all my stuff on paper, until recently. From a climate perspective I've managed to transfer almost fully to pdf for new material. And Drive Thru has been a bane for my wallet, it's way too easy to overshop there. Do I really need everything for WFRP 1e? Nope. Have I bought it anyway? Yep.
