How do you kill your Players!

hehe ... I was about to say I dont kill my players... only their characters... but not directly. I send some monsters to do the job !!

I had never thought about making the fear of death come thru "body destruction or dissapearance"... some of the Ressurection spells are quite lenient as regards body parts or lack thereof.

If I were your player I would just get a tooth out and leave it with the more survivable character (the cleric usually) for prompt ressurection. Silly to rip out teeth thou ..

Ressurection has an expensive material component. True Res requires a 5000 gp diamond, and material components over 3000 gp aren't readily available (that rule is in either the PH or DMG).
