How do you normally scan the boards for new threads?

Due to obvious complications, I'm going to assume that most of us check out the threads that we've already replied/subscribed to. This is in addition to that.

Yes, I've only allowed one vote per customer. This is on purpose. I want to know how you use these boards the majority of the time. What is your most common method?

I myself occasionally jump back to the last page and look for interesting stuff, but I try not to post to "old" threads.

I read every thread on the first page that intrests me.
Then I go to the Minis Trading page, then the software page, then the Rules Forum.
I then quickly look at the off topic forum then come back to general and reread any that I am really interested in that has had new replies.
Rinse, Lather, Repeat.

Once a week I look at the Meta forum and once in a while I look at house rules.
I never miss a thread on Mini's and usually skip all threads dealing with paladins.
I dont really post much but I am reading something here pretty much all the time.

Well, I often scan the first pages of the threads that interest me. Then, every once in a while I will go into the other thread that I post in on occasion. But very rarely do I go past the first page unless there is a specific thread I am looking for....

I go to Off-Topic first, because that usually has the least I will be interested in, but occasionally does. Then I come back to General and skip forward pages until I get to the oldest one that has changes since I was last here. Then I move backward to get up to the present, reading and sometimes posting as I go. Depending on how busy the board is and how much time I have for it at the moment, I will then sometimes go back and forth between General and Off-Topic, holding conversations in something closer to real-time. I very rarely go out of those two sections, and if I do, it is usually because something in one of those two referred me there.

I especially try to read all the threads about My Paladins. ( :p at KB9JMQ ) :D

I skim the first page in General, then sometimes take a look at Rules. I'll occasionally look at the House Rules forum if the latest thread has an interesting title, and that goes for several others as well.

I'll hit the Story Hour forum based on notifications or authors.

I skim the titles of those threads that have been updated since the last time I visited. This is usually the first page for General, but often it can be two or three pages. I read those threads I think I might be intested in, but leave when I figure it isn't what I'm looking for which could be anywhere from one post to the end of the multi-page thread.

What he said.

I usually scan the first page in different forums. I typically revisit fast enough to catch most things of interest to me. I've never subscribed to threads.
