I don't think there's much in the way of healing. I've got the 1st Ed. hardback for Conan, and several of the 2nd Ed. books, and there are no magical healing spells.....well, nothing like "Cure Light Wounds". There may be a few that do healing but magic is very hard to use in the setting. Even experienced scholars only get a few power points, and it's very easy to blow through them I think.
There's not much in the way of stuff like Fireballs or Meteor Swarms. But there's a lot of very flavourful spells with cool effects that lie outside of what you see in typical D20.
You may not be able to throw magic missiles, but how about turn your enemy into a lycanthrope? Or shrink your opponent to the size of a spider?
I like the system, because I find the adaptations they make to combat pretty cool.....Armor as Damage Reduction, and then a Parry/Dodge number which is used to establish how hard it is to hit you. And weapons having a damage penetration rating, meaning that there are valid reasons for carrying around a poleaxe, for example.
Unfortunately, my players never wanted to try the system.
