18 years ior so. I'm better than I was, but I'd hardly call myself a great GM by any stretch of the imagination. I do, apparently, run a killer one-shot of Hi-Jinx or pulp-era Feng Shui.

Since I was 10 years old. So, going on 20 years.

I think I'm doing OK. If I could only stick to one campaign for a while before jumping to another due to my own fleeting interest, I'd be happier.

25 years. Frequent DMing for the past 11.

Some things I do well, and some I'm improving. I have realized recently that I need to reduce the time I spend working on DMing RPGs and increase the time I spend playing at DMing RPGs.

Other realizations. Minis help with descriptions. Unlined paper keeps us from playing checkers. Different games keep me thinking about different, hopefully better, ways to play the game. Considering what each of us enjoys in the game helps keep the focus on enjoying the game. It's just a game.

12 years now. The only reason my ex was so insistant on having me learn how to game was so I WOULD GM. Gesh, just because I write fiction they think I have an imagination or something...

I learned to GM with a bunch of veteran cheesy min-maxers who had been playing together for five or six years before I even started. Sort of like learning to swim by being thrown off the pier without a life jacket. But on the bright side, there is little a party can throw at me know that I can't handle. :]

Since 1979 when I used money from my paper route to buy this cool boxed set at the local hobby store.

There is no better way to meet friends than Gaming.
