How many 3.5E books do (did) you own?

What was the total number of 3.5E books you purchased?

I bought every single 3.5 book published by wizards (whatever that number is) plus a few doubles of them (mostly PHB), maybe five or so third party books (a few creature compendiums, some economics book, one for sea adventures) and that's about it.

I really didn't go for the 3rd party stuff much. I liked to stick to the wizards stuff for the most part. I may get more 3rd party stuff now since wizards isn't making any more, but then again, I might just be fine with what I have now.

OK, I decided to start counting. I stopped when I got to 300 books/modules, and still had a lot to go. Meaning those big 20 gallon storage containers I got at Wal MArt. So counting PDF's I think I can safely and still very conservatively say I have over 600 3E products. Heck, I may get motivated to empty out the boxes and thoroughly search my computer files to see if I break 1,000. I am shocked to think there even are 1,000 products made for 3E, let alone that I might own that many.

I only own a few Eberron books, none of the monster books like Libris Mortis, and only two of the environment books, the desert and ice one. But I own virtually everything else WotC has ever published for 3/3.5e including all the Realms books.

I don't have many third party products as far as fantasy goes. But outside of fantasy I own a lot. Every Spycraft book ever published, all M&M books etc.

I also own all the 4e books and expect that trend to continue since I love 4e.

50 to 100, easy. If I count all v.3.0 and v.3.5 books as well as other books that use the OGL then I probably have well over 100 books.

I voted 21-30.

It looks like I have fifteen WotC 3.5 books and fourteen 3pp books. I didn't count my pdfs though, which I don't have a lot of.

And here I thought that I bought too many books...the majority of you put my paltry collection to shame! :)

I counted... B-)

135+ not including d20 Modern or Mutants & Masterminds books. I'm probably over 150 if I included those books. Also, I didn't include any PDF books.

I'm over 100 3.5E WotC and 3rd party printed books only if I include my Dungeon and Dragon issues. Otherwise I'm around the 75 mark. If we include 3.0E books I've got another 11 WotC books and about another 20 3rd party books.

If PDF's are counted then that adds at least another 80-100 to my total.

I'm at the stage now where I'm pretty set for 3.x products. There are a couple that I would still like to pick up but I don't think I would be too disappointed if I never got around to buying them. The stuff I own now could keep my going for at least 10 years without me having to come up with an adventure myself. Given how time poor I am at the moment that is a nice thought.

I stopped counting at 45.

I was only beginning shelf #2 (of 5) so I have over 100 and that is before magazines, Internet stuff and my own self-made stuff.

Thus no 4e for me. 1000's of dollars is invested in 3/3.5
