plus I have a bunch of 3pp... I think I have every book out...and I have phb2, dungeon delve both on pre order

Bought Martial Power, haven't picked up the core books yet. Waiting for an errata'd print run. I'm not terribly concerned about the PHB or DMG, but having to make a bunch of fiddly changes to have an up-to-date Monster Manual is not something I want to deal with.

From "The full list so far, with core books, over 30 products" I have the following...

Keep on the Shadowfell: Adventure H1:May 20 2008

Player's Handbook: Jun 6, 2008

--- edit ---

Bought the Core Set a few times (more than the one for me) as well - for some friends and family

but having to make a bunch of fiddly changes to have an up-to-date Monster Manual is not something I want to deal with.

I haven't even looked at the MM errata. I wonder how often my monsters have been too strong or too weak as a result. So far I haven't hit anything that's made me think "I should check the errata on this."

Now I'm curious and am going to go read the errata.

I have a friend who bought every book WotC produced for 3.x. Helping him move has made me vow to keep my purchases to a reasonable level. I have 3 tiers:

1) Get the book
2) Get the PDF
3) Don't get

So far, each category is getting about an even third of the products. I may shift more into the PDF category to not overdo it on the book side of things. I also once had a roommate who collected books (not just D&D books, but books in general-- I'd say he read less than a percent of them) and helping him move was just as much of an eye opener for me- don't get massive book collections until you're in a house you own that you forsee staying in for a long, long time.

The first books I didn't buy were those published in November. The reasoning was, of cause, to leave some Christmas Gift space. I've got MoP and MP for christmas.

MP let the idea to want to have all the books die. It's no fun to read, and the relevant contents is part of my DDI subscritpion anyway, so it's no more Power-books for me.

Other books, like Draconomicon or Open Grave, can wait until I see a real need for them.

Funny, I really love running 4e, but it has led me to relax somewhat and not to feel the need to see all the options. The same happend with other editions as well, but never as soon as with 4e.

I bought

Player’s Handbook
Dungeon Master’s Guide
Dungeon Master’s Screen
Dungeon Delve
Monster Manual
Adventurer’s Vault
Martial Power
Manual of the Planes
Open Grave
Draconomicon 1: Chromatic Dragons
FR1 Scepter Tower of Spellgard (2-4)
H1 Keep on the Shadowfell (1-3)
H2 Thunderspire Labyrinth (4-6)
H3 Pyramid of Shadows (7-10)
P1 King of the Trollhaunt Warrens (11-13)
P2 Demon Queen’s Enclave (14-17)

No Tiles or minis. We use self-made standups and battlemats. Just a matter of time now that we go digital for combat - with or without the WoTC Gametable... narf.
