How many cycles of 4E core books will you buy?

I'll make my choices book-by-book. That said, I voted for up to PHBII, but I consider Martial Power, Arcane Power, Divine Power, and Primal Power part of that cycle. That, in my mind, is core.

I will keep buying Players Handbook N as long as they keep putting them out.

I purchased DMG I and MM I but I did not purchase DMG II or MM II, and I won't be purchasing further DMGs unless they really surprise me with some sort of content, or MMs (nothing they put in these will make me buy). I refer to DMG I occasionally (a photocopy of page 42 could probably replace the book for me), but I pretty much only ever use MM I as a mouse-surface for my laptop.

I buy what I buy when I buy and I buy Lemon Curry. So far I have most of them but I skipped AV2 and have not gotten the Eberron books, at least as of yet.

My book purchases are very much based on the contents of the particular book.

Thus far, I've picked up all 6 "core rulebooks" -- PHB I and II, DMG I and II and MM I and II. Assuming that future books are of about the same level of quality and contain similar contents, I probably won't pick up future PHB's -- all the content I'd be interested in will be in the Compendium. If future DMG's are as solid as the first two, I'll get them for the "how to be a better DM" content. Future MM's are a toss up. On the one hand, I'm going to get all my monster stats from the Compendium, so I won't need MM III+. On the other hand, I like monster books, so I'm inclined to get them whether I need 'em or not.

A better question is, what exactly would a 4th year of core books cover (PHB4/DMG4/MM4)?

MM4 could be 4E's version of "Deities and Demigods" or "Faiths and Pantheons"?

DMG4 could cover post-epic adventures, how to play "gods", etc ....? Not entirely sure what they would have in mind for levels beyond 30.

I'm not too inclined to buy PHBs while I have DDi. I have a vague desire to one day get the DMG2, but since I'm barely DMing I'm in no hurry.

While whether or not I buy a book is fully dependent on the quality and content, I will probably only buy two more complete cycles. After that point, I will probably only buy the PHB from there on out. I might even skip the DMG in the fourth cycle. It all depends (if there isn't Dragonlance in 2011 or 2012, I will probably stop buying altogether).
