I read the comix first, then the letters, then hit the articles. I used to read The Forum before anything else, but that's long gone now.

Anything to do with miniatures, Eberron or FR, I read last (unless it has crunch I can steal). I truly have no interest in either of those settings, so the fluff part gets put off until the last.

I read the whole thing.

I find Dungeon much more useful on a per article basis, personally.

While I agree that I now find Dungeon a heck of a lot more useful (being a DM and all), Dragon has become the magazine that my wife and I both read. As a player (wizard), she likes looking at the new spells issue to issue. Her other favorite is the selection of comics (especially Zogonia). There's nothing like looking at the comics and picking out which person in our group is most like a character in the comic. Dork Tower this month featured a guy who is a lot like one of our gamers, for example: "...Do I have to make an ability check?!?"

I read Dragon month to month from cover to cover for inspiration, new crunch to add onto my ever-growing army of NPC's, and new races to build NPC's that will become recurring villains. It succeeds in all three areas.

FDP mention

There's one article in January's issue that I'm definately looking forward to reading -- something about Battleboxes...

:)

Currently I don't subscribe.

When I did, I usually read the comics, skimmed a couple articles, and put it away, never to be read again.

i don't subscribe anymore either.

i miss Wormy :( :( :(

i also much prefer Dungeon to Dragon.

I read the whole thing, although I sometimes skim through articles I find less interesting. Allow me to add one thing, though: Zogonia rocks! I love that strip!

I don't subscribe. When I did, I would read a few articles (mostly any bestiary/ecology, comics, and the occasional Silicon Sorcery) and then either skip or skim over the rest.

I quit subscribing when the cost began to outweigh the good I got from each issue. Don't get me wrong, they were ususally decent each issue, but the amount of stuff that I used out of each issue got to be less and less.

I generally read the whole thing. I occasionally skim a few of the articles I find less interesting each month. (i.e. Silicon Sorcery). I marked 7+ since I do only skim articles that hold little interest to me.

I used to read them cover to cover. Then I lost interest, after the format change. I'm not renewing my subscription--I might give Dungeon a shot, though. Been hearin' good tings.

I went with 7+. I read (and often re-read) everything except the section on miniatures, which I either skim or ignore, and the fiction, which I almost always ignore. I resent the presence of fiction in Dragon. I thought that's what Amazing Stories was for. If I wanted fiction, I'd buy a novel or anthology.

I love the comics (especially Zogonia) and Class Acts.

The features are really a mixed bag. They might be great one month, and worthless to me the next.

Unlike many others on these boards, I like the new PrClasses, Spells, Feats, options and other crunch in the magazine.

I like the the new Winning Races section. Heck, I love the whole of the "Familiars" section of the magazine, and I will often find value in "Table Talk," too.
