Not counting my friends in my gaming group that signed up a while ago but don't really visit the site nor these message boards :( ... I voted 2 because I met Paladin and Paladinwife this past Easter weekend at the Scarborough Faire. I was at Crescent City Con in 2002 and met a lot of people but I don't know if they were ENWorlders. One of these days I want to go to Gen Con and the Ennies. One day...

I said 6-9, which is in that vast middle category.

My guess is, there will be 3 types:

Those who have never met anyone else on the boards, or who knew one or two people before they all started posting here. (0-2)

Those whose gaming group posts here, either because they came here as a group or because they found their group thanks to ENW (that's me!) (3-9, maybe more with some group turnover)

Those who have been to GenCon or a big Game Day. (10+)

After two ENnies a good many, some I even remember! Good thing they don't remember me!

I am highly unlikely to forget someone who was as crazed as I was to drive to Gencon from my home state. :)

That said, I met about 30 at Gencon 2003, and another 30 to 40 at ENWorld Gamedays, so about 60 total!

Well, since I go to very few conventions (2 in the last 12 years), I have so far met a grand total of zero people from this board, at least as far as I know ;) For the most part, game cons give me the willies. I hate crowds. Too many people trying to tell me about too many characters from too many games I never played in. (OTOH, I loved reading Bimbos of the Death Sun by Sharon (or is it Sharyn?) McCrumb, which I felt caught the mood of sci fi/fantasy/game cons rather well!)

I'm going to a con this weekend (KublaCon), mainly to catch up with a friend of mine from SoCal who I haven't seen in about three years. I may bump into others there, but most likely I'll just check out the merchants and leave.
