The EN World Chicago Gamedays have become a regular hangout for EN Worlders. Also, the ENnies at GenCon are another hot spot.

I think it was the Gamers seeking Gamers forum that started it all for me though. It always starts with just one or two, and then, next thing you know they are all over the place. I'm currently in three groups, and each has at least one EN World member.
;)

*edit*
Total met is probably around 50+ in some form of face-to-face conversation, but if you take away the GenCon and gameday events, it comes down to something like 16-20. And I should probably throw in that I'm normally a quiet and reserved guy in person. So, I would highly encourage people to attend their nearest EN World Gameday, or GenCon if they want to meet some very cool EN Worlders.

Interesting distribution so far. Respondants generally ahve met nobody, or met many. Folks in the middle are scarce.

Presumably, there's normal folks that never meet others from the boards, and those who go to the big Chicago Gamedays and GenCon and meet a bundle of people...

I've met one (who's actually a banned ex-ENWorlder... :o ) in real life. I know a few people from real life who are also ENWorlders, but that's different.

Not enough! ;)

Around 6 altogether, counting folks I've actually chatted with (and not just seen). I hope to meet more of you at this year's GenCon Indy. :)

Three I guess. Heck, I'll call it 3 and a half. I run into myself on occasion.

I only recently signed up (obviously), but my fellow gamers kept ranting about this place, so here I am. I could point at all five of them, but I'm getting the impression two of them lurk worse than I do.

They are doing their damned best to draw me out of the PC RPGing world I inhabit now. If we'd only set a weekly or bi-weekly game come heck or high water, hint, hint guys...

I've met quite a few, between the Chicago Gamedays and GenCon. Especially when I was bugging everyone to sign the dice bag for Angelsboi last year--that alone was good for meeting 15+ EN Worlders. :)

2 for me - Through the Gamers seeking Gamers board

Now I see their ugly mugs every week! ( Badger that! )

I'd love to go to GenCon and meet a bunch of you though, but as that is so far from California, and quite an expense, the wife only gave me permission to go if I became and ENnie judge (1st runner up :\ ). Someday...

Perhaps a local get together. I believe Jester ( or was it SHARK?) had an idea once of setting up a game day ( in SoCal? ) I bet that would be fun. That was more appealing with a overnight stay than driving 3 1/2 hours each way to a Sacto gameday.

I have developed a rapport off the boards ( via email etc... ) with several ENWorlders though, discussing game design, product trades, mini's etc.., and that is kind of cool.
