How many feats are there?

Last night I decided to work on the feat list. After I was finished (today) the excel sheet had over 2000 feats. I haven't included feats from some sources (Divine power,...) because the ebooks were messed up. (I have most of the books, but I still find the ebooks the easiest way to search info)

I checked the compedium but has some mistakes (counts the Tower of Iron Will as feat instead of power) and I don't waste to lose my time..

In MP2 the style feats are included. The D.born= Races - Dragonborn. MotP= Manual of the Planes

I've been told the D364 has 7 feats, but haven't found the 7th
(So far I have Against All Odds, Component Modification, Immutability, Improved Immutability, Improved Warforged Resolve, Warforged Fortification, Warforged Tactics)
If anyone can tell which one is missing I'd be grateful

There are 2191 feats in the Compendium that use the word prerequisite.

2280 that use the word benefit

Is the wildcard search term I could use?

If I search on 364, I find the powers that were in that article, not the feats... must read the files differently.

Oops, my mistake the 7th feat. It seams it was a faulty description in the sheet.
However, I'd like someone to post how many feats are in PHB 3, MP2, Arc.P, Pri.P, Div.P and Dragon 374-384, to make sure I'm not letting anything out

Except you made an error here, I think. According to the compendium, there's indeed a power named "Tower of Iron Will (Ardent Utility 10)", but there is ALSO a feat with the SAME NAME. I don't have my PHB3 at hand to check the text, but it's certainly not impossible.

The compendium is certainly not perfect, but it's still a great resource for this kind of research. It lists 2280 feats at the moment. Regarding those 7 you listed, only Against All Odds is listed a being from D364. Component Modification, Immutability, Improved Immutability, Improved Warforged Resolve, Warforged Fortification and Warforged Tactics are all listed as being from the Eberron's Player Guide.

The reason is quite simple: those feats were indeed first published in D364, but were then re-published (in a possibly modified form) in the Eberron's Player Guide when it was published. There's a lot of stuff from Dragon Magazine that's like that, and a factor that certainly makes such an endeavor as the one you have embarked on more complex.

I know I'm replying to myself, but I just got home and checked out the PHB3. It would appear that there is a feat in PHB3 that appears twice in the compendium under two different names! The feat listed as Tower of Iron Will in the compendium actually has the same description as the feat named "Psychic Bastion" in the PHB3 p.191. To complicate matters further, of course, the Psychic Bastion feat is ALSO in the compendium. They probably renamed the feat during editing and both versions made it to the compendium.

keterys: I'm sorry if I broke any rules, but denying the obvious (that there is a problem with piracy in games, movies, etc) isn't going to solve any problems. Still, with the books the problem isn't so serious, since it is impossible to run a campaign with your friends running to your pc all the time to check the books. Their cost isn't worth all this trouble. I also mentioned that I have all the books I'm interested in. The only reason I have pdfs is because it's way easier to search for specific text, and because I couldn't make my list by typing all the text myself. Even with them, trying to find all the feats (end exclude the duplicates) has taken 2 full days and I'm still not finished.

By the way, can someone tell me where I can find the feats: Abjure the unclean, Rebuke the unclean, and Snining Crusader? The compedium says they are in Dragon 377, but I can't find them in the book.

I believe my list is near perfect. As I said it is in excel 2007, all the feats have the following fields :Name, Prerequisites(divided in Race, Class, Other), Benefit (Main Text), Source, Tier, and Keywords (Like Diviity, Domain, ...). I can use any combination of filters to find, let's say, all the the heroic divinity feats for human paladins. Since it superior to the compedium if WotC would like to have a look they could contact me.

Admitting to having such is admitting that you're breaking the law. You want to do that in public? Specifically, in a place where the people who own the rights might well read it? That's you're lookout, but it seems... less than clever, to me. And kinda rude.
