Pretty simple question, but I am very curious...
We can see how many accounts EN World has (though we don't know how many are fully active) but when you compare it to the total number of people playing D&D (as mentioned via various wotc numbers from lawsuit information), not to mention other games, this number represents a small portion of that total.
And so, the question relates to all the people you know locally who you do or could play face to face with - how many of them use ENW? What percent basically?
In my case, I have 12 or so people that live close enough to me to play with regularly (and I pretty much do). So of those here, we'll say 13 counting me, 3 use ENW so about 25% (I'm calling "use" as having an account and having at least a post or three, or no account but lurking pretty regularly).
The others know of and hear about EN World, but they are either more the "player" type and don't think they would get much out of it, or they just don't use forums much and avoid em.
So how about in your case?
