How many games will you run this year?

Realistically how many sessions (any RPG) will you run this year.

For me it's (about) monthly sessions plus a week of gaming vacation for a total of 11-20.
This year it may actually be less, since my 3e campaign is about to end 'really soon now' ...

Oh woe... my choice is not among them... namely: none, I don't have any players...

Three factors interfere with my gaming:
- I have a busy job
- I currently do not know any players around here
- With two young kids, I currently do not have the time / energy to actively recruit and 'train' new players... (my wife also works...)

So... looks like no gaming this year... again...

I'll be at about 70. That breaks down to 1 every other week for my regular two 4e campaigns, a few MnM games, and 4-5 gaming cons.

As a player, I'm in another 22 3.5 D&D games (Sagiro's campaign) and about 10 MnM games per year. Add to that anything I play at a con, about another 10 games.

Typical systems I'll run at cons include Paranoia, Old School Hack, Fiasco, Feng Shui, Dread, and a few others.

In the past twelvish years I haven't run any games (I'm generally only a player, which was my poll response). But in a couple of weeks I'm getting together with my college roommates for a four person mini-mini-mini-Con. We're requiring each other to run one game, so this year my total will skyrocket to 1!

I voted 21-30. We play fortnightly, which works out to 26 sessions. I'm sure there will be a couple of missed sessions along the way. On the other hand there will probably be 1-2 big Saturday sessions on top of the fortnightly sessions, so it roughly evens out.

I guessed 21-30, but I have no way of knowing for sure. In previous years it would have easily been 50+, but two of my players have started campaigns in the last year. I haven't had the chance to play this much in about 10-15 years.

For the past 3+ years I have run a chat-based game every Sunday night. Barring those days when I might be sick, out of town, or Sunday falls on a holiday I'd guess I run 45 games a year or so.

My housemate and I alternate GMing on Sundays -- he's my Pathfinder GM, and I'm his M&M GM -- so I'm "scheduled" for 26 sessions a year. Realistically, we play 18 to 20. Add in the sessions I run at GenCon, and the one-shots I occasionally run at home, and I'm back into the 21-30 bracket.

I play in another 21-30 sessions a year. Maybe into the 30s.
