Over a hundred. Played at different conventions and often run one-offs at those conventions. One of my gaming groups is based at the local university, so each year for the last 10 our player base changes with some moving on and some new arriving.

I've played for almost three decades, and lived in many different states.

Been gaming since '99; I voted 21-40, and can easily count 25 people I've gamed with.

I'm also likely forgetting another 10 or so. Maybe I've even over 40 people, but I don't think quite yet.

cheers,

I've played with you. How far does that get me?

Through me, two degrees removed.

But, at those same tables at Origins, you were also DMing for Maryrita, and I know she's had Piratecat for a DM at some point.

So, you're only one degree removed.

I have to say I legitimately must have played with over a hundred different people. I've been gaming for 30 years, roundabout. I played at a gaming shop for about 2 years, where I may have played with over a dozen or two dozen people, easily. Then for years at home where I probably played with a dozen others, counting family and friends. Then another game shop, where I frequently DMed for 10 or more people and probably altogether gamed with and for several dozen people; some were not DND but it's been long enough that I can't separate out who and when and what. Throw in a couple gaming cons where I probably played with another half-dozen folks, a few years at college with another half-dozen more friends, and then in the past ten years at a third game shop. I've easily played with 15-20 different folks up there and at work and at home in that time...

So I'd say a hundred is a good conservative estimate of people I've played with at DND and possibly a jumble of other games together. But the bulk was DND or a derivative thereof.

Not counting conventions, just the people that I gamed with week-in and week-out : 41-60.

Counting conventions, local and otherwise, since 1979... let's call it 101+. I used to be active in my local cons and after I moved I became very active in the RPGA for a while.

I'm guessing 80-100 area.

Arggh (local game group) has about thirty members. All of these I have played with at least once.

I have taught from scratch and run campaigns for about ten people. (non Arggh members)

I am now teaching my son and daughter the game. (more to come soon I would guess)

Then I have gone to several cons. Whenever I go to these I try to play unique games run by folks I don't know so I meet new people. I used to be very active with that but no so much anymore.

It's not that hard to get past 100?

I've ben gaming for 17 years, and a con-session typically involves 5 players (at least here it does). So 100 people is just my groups through the years and one D&D game at a con each year. So Since I've been playing or GMing at least two games at cons most of the years since '89 I am far past 100.

Some 70-80 people. Not sure of the exact numbers, but I could reliably remember around 71 different players and DMs. I've been very active with the RPGA these past three years, and I've now been in at least one home campaign at all times since 1999.

If you counted online games, the number would be well over one hundred.
