I'm in the 50+ club. In a sense, it is a bit of a shame. It isn't like I have time to *play* all these games. Sure, some of them are things I used to play, and have finished with, but others are things I picked up along the way and never had a chance to explore. Bit wasteful, that. Not that I'm now looking to get rid of them, but just noting the potential never realized...

It's the big problem with RPGs: they require a lot of time investment to play, so it's very difficult to browse.

I have over 400 boardgames, and I've played most of them (and will play most of them again). Different style of gaming entirely!

Cheers!

Well, let's see what I can remember without looking through everything.

D&D - including several retroclones I won't list separately, and the Star Wars variants
Traveller - and 2300AD
Runequest - and Legend, I suppose
Pendragon
Call of Cthulhu
Dangerous Journeys
Warhammer Fantasy
Dark Heresy
BRP - should that be separate from CoC and RQ, or are they subsets of it?
L5R
The One Ring
Yggdrasil
Tunnels and Trolls
Wild World Wrestling
Dragon Warriors
Advanced Fighting Fantasy
Chivalry and Sorcery
Flashing Blades
Bushido
Ashen Stars
Paranoia
Rolemaster
MERP
Gamma World
Barbarians of Lemuria
Honour and Intrigue
3:16
Serenity
Diaspora
Legends of Anglerre
Spirit of the Century
Starblazer Adventures
Heroquest
Exalted
A Song of Ice and Fire
Dragon Age
Reign
Anima Beyond Fantasy
Artesia
Space 1889
Eclipse Phase
High Space
Qin
Song of Blades and Heroes
Stars Without Number
Witch Girls
Savage Worlds

Those are ones where I've got something more than a demo. I wouldn't be surprised if there were more. Should probably have a clear out, I don't play them all.

Edit:
And now that I've looked through other people's lists, I'm reminded of a few. Considering how much GURPS material I own, I'm surprised I forgot it, except that I never play the game instead mining background from the excellent support material.

Well I checked my database and it looks like about 110 or so, since we're not counting different editions of a game.

If we were counting all the different editions of D&D I have separately (AD&D, BECMI, 3E and all the OSR clones such as Castles & Crusades, Mazes & Minotaurs et cetera et cetera) it'd probably be 125+.

What about different games that use the same basic engine, such as BTRC's SpaceTime and Time Lords? Some of those I'm counting separately, and some as parts of the same RPG.

EDIT: Come to think of it, that database is for the games I have in hardcopy. If I were to include the games I have on my hard-drives it'd be.

Let's see now...

....a good deal more than that.

I dabbled in Traveller and Gamma World for a time, but D&D has been my main focus since 1979. Since 1995 I have run 4 campaigns, two were 1e, one was 1e that switched to 3e, and my current game is 3.5e. I also have the [notranslate]Pathfinder[/notranslate] PDFs but have not run a game using that system yet.

I voted 3-5

I own a few editions of D&D -which I counted as one; Pathfinder (which I don't count as being D&D,) and GURPS (mostly 4th Edition, but I have some 3E books too.)

I've played more than that, but I currently only own 3. In the near future I plan to pick up 13th Age, and I'm also considering Mouseguard.

Probably in total I've owned about 15-20, but I regularly thin out my collection as eventually some books just sit on my shelves and collect dust. Usually I'd say I'm in the half dozen range.
