Well that "all editions count as one" thing does cut it down, but there are 47 different printed RPG systems in the room with me now. Throw in a few more in a box in the garage and quite a few I only own in PDF and yeah, it's in the "more than I probably need" category. I will say I've played or run at least one session of almost all of those printed games though.

I only counted those that I have in hard copy and was surprised that I got to 12 systems. I actually expected it to be lower than that, but when I went to my bookcase to count I realised I'd forgotten about games like Toon! and Sidewinder Recoiled (neither of which I've managed to have a game of).

If I counted PDF's as well I think I could probably double that number easily. Most of those systems I've probably never even read though as I either bought them on a whim, or got them as part of a big pack of various PDF's.

lol not sure. I voted 16-20 but wouldnt be surprised if it was a bit higher. 4 plastic crates + a bookcase full. OK its a lot more.

I sold a bunch of stuff, getting me below 100, but I'm still in the 50+ club. Below is a picture of my "man-cave" showing the corner where the bulk of the gaming stuff resides. You can't really see the 2 trunks of M:tG (obscured by a chair & table), nor the thousands of metal minis collected over 30+ years of gaming.

The bookcases are 7' tall; the twin towers of plastic Sterlite sliding drawers are full of plastic minis. The 4' tall stack of drawers in the top & leftmost portion of the picture are full of Dwarven Forge stuff.

For the record, the systems that take up the most space are the multiple editions of D&D and HERO, with RIFTS running third.

(I'm a tad ridiculous.)
