How many settings do you own (vs how many you actually use)?

I only figured that out after I posted.

Well that's a relief anyway. I guess I should have payed more attention to Monty's essay on creator insecurity. :)

No one here actually has Morningstar? Ouch. I'll have to work a lot harder.

I bought a copy and liked what I've read so far :) , which though unfortunately is not that much. :o

Heck I'm even a member of your Yahoo group! :) Just thought I'd mention that too.

Let's see here...

I own:
Greyhawk (via the Core Rules)
Arcana Unearthed
Dragonlance
Forgotten Realms
Manual of the Planes
Oriental Adventures
Call of Cthulhu
D20 Modern
Urban Arcana
Gamma World
Farscape
Everquest
Mutants and Masterminds
Star Wars
Rifts
Heroes Unlimited

Except for Rifts and HU, all my books are D20. (I sold all my 2E material after I fell in love with 3E...I had a HUGE collection of material also.) I also own monster books from all sorts of settings.

I don't actually use any of the settings as written. With the exception of M&M, I use all my D20 material in my homebrew Post-Apocalyptic/Mid-range-Magic world. I use M&M on it's own.

It looks like someone's doing a bit of thread necromancy, but...

I've got

D&D
- Forgotten Realms (FRCS and some other books)
- Greyhawk (LGG)

other d20 Fantasy
- Wheel of Time
- Arcana Unearthed

other d20
- d20 Modern (Urbana Arcana, Shadow Chasers, Agents of Psi)
- Star Wars
- Call of Cuthulu

I'm currently playing in two vaguely Agents of Psi-esque d20 modern games (one in person, one PbP), DM'ing a WoT game, and playing in two D&D games (one homebrew PbP, one Greyhawk PbP).

Own: 3 (FRCS, KoK, Sovereign Stone)

Use: 0

Why? Homebrew.

Oops, make that 4. I guess I bought the Diamond Throne PDF, so that should count.

I mainly like reading them. I specifically don't use ideas from them just because I have more fun creating the world myself.

Oops

I didn't count in my pdfs...

I also have Darwin's World and Four Color to Fantasy.

I'm using both in my homebrew campaign. I highly recommend the revised editions of both.

Thanks a lot. :) I'm planning a few more downloads for the group in the near future. I'm glad you joined. Stick with it, even if it seems slow at times, I get busy with my various projects, but I don't forget the group. I'll be sure to put something up tghis weekend.
