I like many settings. I spent years playing ONLY Greyhawk and then years playing ONLY Forgotten Realms. Then I went from playing Ravenloft, Rokugan, Wilderlands, and Erde. I have now realized it is fun to "setting hop", keeps things fresh for me as the DM, gives me a lot more inspiration for campaign ideas, etc... Can't wait to run a Oathbound and Dungeonworld Campaign, but those are still a year or more down the road. still having plenty of fun in Erde.

Greyhawk, Ravenloft, Dark Sun, Dragonlance, Oathbound, Banewarrens post-apocalyptic Greyhawk, Planescape, Homebrew Celtic world, Twin Crowns, Modules without a CS. I think that's it for my DMing in D&D. Currently running two games: Oathbound and Postapoc GH/Planescape with a Twin Crowns one on indefinite Hiatus.

As a player it has been Greyhawk, Forgotten Realms, Dragonlance, Ravenloft, Homebrews, Oathbound, Scarred Lands, Planescape, Spelljammer.

I'm currently GM'ing 2 settings, playing in 1, and working on another.

If I add up all the settings I've played, I think it would be between 20 to 30, depending on how many homebrews I can remember.

Recently, 4. Greyhawk (default for home games, WLD, LG); Cthulhu; Star Wars d20; Eberron.

Last year I played in a couple of FR games run by FCWesel.

About three years ago there was a CotSQ game, so add FR if defunct games count.

And I've played in a couple of PBeM games set in unique settings (Bohavia and Fight the Real Enemy!), and run one online game set in The End setting (post-Revelation setting; 20 version).

And if you factor in one-shots, several more could be added in. But nowhere near as many as some of the posters in this thread! :)

Based on our current schedule, the number of settings is 3. We have two ongoing campaigns set in the Forgotten Realms, one in Eberron, and one in Greyhawk.

The group I belong to always has multiple ongoing campaigns, often using different systems as well as different settings. I can't imagine being stuck in just one setting at a time. :)

Our group currently has two major campaigns running. Well, one, since the other DM hasn't run his main campaign for half a year, so it hardly counts anymore. So, the only major campaign we're running is my Eberron campaign. One of the other players is trying his hand at DMing, so we've had one session with his homebrew so far. The campaign that hasn't run for half a year is another homebrew.

We used to have a campaign in a Swedish cyberpunk/post-apocalyptic RPG called Mutant, but that campaign ended, and the GM is currently working on revising the rules. I have also previously run a campaign that started in Greyhawk and later moved to Oathbound, but I put that on hold to run my Eberron campaign instead.

With various other groups I've been in, the number of campaigns and settings can hardly be counted. It's "a lot".

But with the poll question asked the way it is, I'm going to have to vote for five: Greyhawk, Oathbound, Eberron, Homebrew, and Mutant.
