How many touch attacks per round?

First Post
As the subject states, I am wondering how many touch attacks a character can make per round. Do you get as many as you have attacks (full attack action) or is it only one per round? I'm speaking specifically of touch attacks from the Negative Energy Enchantment (*edit- or Energy Drain Enchantment, whichever it may be) that you can place on armor. Since I don't have to cast the spell myself (it is always in affect) I was thinking I could use my full attack action since a touch attack is considered an "armed attack" and does not provoke an attack of opportunity. Can anyone verify this for me?

Thanks:D

Basically, you can make as many touch attack as your BAB allowed.

However, if a touch attack is used as part of a spell or magic item, then unless otherwise noted in the spell or item, the effect is discharged on the first successful touch attack.

In this specific example the enchantment constantly provides the energy drain ability (as per the spell) so I would tend to think that all attacks could be used (based on BAB).

First thing I'll note is that the Energy Drain armor special ability is horribly, horribly overpowered.

The DM of the character I have who has the armor dropped it to 1 level (instead of 1d4) once per round (instead of once per attack), and I'm quite happy that it's a reasonable (or perhaps slightly weak) +2 ability. Considering that as its written, there was the potential to drain over 20 levels a round, and that 1 level per round is (IMO) a weak +2 (but definitely stronger than +1), the ability as written is - to use a word everyone is well-familiar with - broken.

The other thing to note is that in the Main FAQ, it's stated that energy drain attacks can only be used once per round. That's not supported anywhere in the Core Rules, but I think applying that ruling makes the Energy Drain a solid +2 ability - 1d4 levels once per round - bordering on a +3.

Generally speaking, you can make as many touch attacks in a round as you can make attacks. Usually, you make touch attacks to discharge a spell you have cast, which means that once you make a succesful attack the spell is discharged and you need to cast it again (which basically means you don't continue touch-attacking).

There is also the addition that you can cast & touch-attack with the SAME standard action, which is what everybody does as first attack, and if not successful in the next round can use all his full-attack routine until succesful.

I have never used this armor enchantment, and it looks weird to me that such a powerful ability does not need any activation similar to casting the spell or better using a spell-like ability, that is a standard action (cast + touch) that is = once per round.
Are we sure there is no errata about it? I could see if it was a weapon at least, but an armor... good grief :p
