The closest I ever come to playing characters like myself is when I decide to use them to explore an idea very loosely based on something from my life.shilsen said:I voted the same way, for exactly the same reasons. In fact, sometimes I will actually create a character based on myself for a change. They're usually very entertaining to play, but I doubt that would be the case if it wasn't a rare occurrence. In real life I am exactly who I want to be and get along very well with myself, but since I get to roleplay myself in real life all the time, it seems a waste to do so again when running a PC.
