I think a lot of the result depends on who you are playing with.
I agree with this. Right now I'm around a 6. During my main gaming period I was probably a 7 and the group consisted of a lot of 7's and 8's. Right now a good percentage of my group focuses in the 3-4 range (with one 1-2 who has disappeared).

Still, I personally would rather play with a 1 than a 10, even though I favor the 7-8 range.

I voted 7 as well.

I love and enjoy rp'ing - perhaps more than any other aspect of the game, but I enjoy group rp'ing more than individual stuff of this sort. Just personal preference, perhaps, but I always got more out of the game on a personal level when everyone was getting more out of it. :) If something I was doing began to ruin the game for the others I would bend the "in character" stuff some or pull back for their sakes ... at least for the time being.

I voted a 7 as well. Most of the time I make decisions based on what I think the charatcer would do. Once in awhile I do something based on what is best tacticly or, for the group.

10.

I write elabotre back round stories, and that is just for the feats! Since most of the D&D games are in larp form (where we act out the characters ) we get hot and heavy into it.

Sorry for any typos in adavnce.
