How much is a "preview" book worth to you?

I'm willing to spend (U.S.$) on a race/class preview book...

I don't intend on buying the preview books. I would consider it if I were planning on running a 4e campaign soon after launch so I could start doing some prep work. Since I'm not, I will just wait until the 4e books come out.

Paying for an ad? No, that's not going to happen.
I'll download a preview for free, but that's about it.

I spend a quarter of my life at the local Border's book store anyway. Browsing there, with an overpriced cup of coffee and pastry, should be good enough -- no purchase necessary.

Same here. I'll probably just check it out at a store to get a preview of 4th Edition but not buy it at all.

Not going to get it.
If lets say it had classes, races, feats and other things left out of the PHB, DMG, and MM for 4e then maybe. Oh and it better have a conversion guide too. I dont buy the whole cant do a conversion crap. I convert Cthulhu monsters into d20 and OWOD stuff into d20 all the time with little to no effort. Seriously how hard is it to convert d20 to d20?

All I want is a list of the races and classes that will appear in the Player's Handbook (which is apparently top secret information around WotC these days). That information will pop up online when it becomes available -- and really, folks around here seem to have the list pretty well pegged down by now.

I won't be throwing money down on a preview book. While I'm sure the material therein will be neat for a certain audience, I want to actually play the game, not read about it.
