120! Wow! I can't even imagine naming half that many. That's more RPGs than most have books or pdfs. Have you ever actually played all of them? I'm quite frankly, flabbergasted.

I've played the vast majority of them. I was just out in the RPG room, and on a quick look, the only books that I don't recall ever running a game for are The End and Mage.

Of the game books I have sitting at hand (d20 Modern and Mutants and Masterminds), I would say 91-100% - I'm actively running games using both systems, so I tend to pull from them pretty routinely.

However, I have a couple of boxes of D&D stuff buried in my garage somewhere, waiting for the day I dig them out and give them to Goodwill or something - I don't really consider these part of my "collection," since I don't use them for anything anymore and I don't plan on keeping them beyond my next spring cleaning.

I have used at least 75 percent of my collection.
I currently use about 15 %.
I have several items still in shrinkwrap that I havent opened yet to mine for ideas but I am not sure I want to open them since they are 2nd Edition items.

Zero. That is sad, but true.

For somebody who doesn't play, I have two standing bookshelves filled with nothing but RPG materials, including almost every 3rd edition GURPS book (sans GURPS Conan, and some of the maps). I've got almost everything D&D 3.5/3.0, plus all the Forgotten Realms, the 3.x Dragonlance and Ravenloft settings, Midnight, D20 Rokugan. Also, T20 Traveller, Original Traveller reprints, all the Babylon 5 Wars from AoG, plus the B5 books from Mongoose. Then are the Buffy and Angel RPGs from Eden, the D20 Call of Cthulu...I could go on.

The one time I tried to find a group as an adult, the timing never worked out. There was a Dork Tower about this, I think...now I have the money, who has the time?

Create the time. If it is truely a hobby you want to play in then you should be able to create the time. Some groups only meet once a month, and if you can't find a way to game for 4 hours a month then you really need to step back and have a serious look at what is going on in your life.

i own all of the newer editions stuff that T$R and WotC and Hasbeen put out.

i use none of it.
You play in a 3e game don't you? ;)

I actively use about 25% of my collection. Every once in a while, I'll use a lot of material, mostly for preparing adventures. For example, I'm planning a couple of sessions that will use A LOT of Lords of Madness and Frostburn material, but those are kinda far down the line.
