How much time do you spend on RPGs?

This is just one of those pure curiosity questions. How much time per week (or day, if applicable) do you spend either playing RPGs, reading about RPGs, researching for a game, writing, etc? Also, how much time would you say you spend online doing this?

I'd answer this myself, but I'm not sure I really want to know. :heh: :uhoh:

Averaging it out over a month. I'd say 10-15 hours a week. That counts playing sessions, reading manuals, game planning, and reading message boards.

Me too. The sad thing is, I spend more time on these boards than I do playing RPGs. :\

too much...I'm running 2 games so I spend a few good hours each week on each prepping and many hours each week just thinking about things. Plus there's the reviews, the messagebaords, reading books.....

Ya, too much time. :D

Not enough playing P&P, at least at the moment: ATM almost every campaign I'm in takes place erratically at best. I bet that sooner or later, they will start to be regular - and all of them at the same time (I'm in several parties so I can play regularly even when one or two sessions are cancelled, but usually they're either all cancelled or none are).

Besides that, I spend quite some time online writing in RPG-Boards (I'm co-admin in one - albeit small - RPG-Forum myself)

Depends if you count reading history books, listening to music that suddenly sparks inspiration, and other "accidental gaming" moments. ;)

If they are included, upwards of 20 hours a week; if not, about 10.

Between the game I run, and the game I play in, I actively game 7-8 hours a week. I spend a few hours a day on and off on EN World and the boards for the game I play in. I spent a lot of time writing up a variety of things for both games. I would imagine that it easily comes up to 20+ hours a week. Probably more, but it is a hobby so I don't keep close track.
