I'd consider myself a moderate-to-light TV viewer.
I turn the TV on when I'm going to bed at night--the white noise helps me drift off. I set the sleep timer and catch around twenty minutes of whatever is on before I'm out. I'm not terribly picky about exactly what it is, it usually ends up being whatever is on AMC, TCM, Syfy, or Comedy Central.
The only show that I actually follow right now is Futurama. When new episodes of that are on, I watch that. I'll check out the Living Dead when new episodes are out--go Georgia!
On occasion, I'll turn the TV on when I'm home alone so there's some sound to the house (silence can be very distracting when I'm trying to work and concentrate, strangely enough), but I'm not really watching it.
Overall, I'd say that I watch somewhere between three to four hours of TV per week on average. That goes way up on certain occasions--every weekend that SyFy does a Twilight Zone marathon, that's on non-stop in my house even though I've seen them all several times. I can also dig a Star Trek marathon every once in a while if I just want to relax and chill out.
