but seriously...

How much undead can a Warlock create with 'The Dead Walk'? The invocation is kind of vague and I didn't see much in the FAQ.

The invocation description says that it functions the same as animate dead. Therefore, you can create up to twice your warlock level in HD of undead with each use of the invocation, and control up to 4 times your warlock level in HD of undead at any given time.

Also handy to note is the spell desecrate, which allows you to create double-the-normal HD's worth of undead within the spell's area - and gives them +1 HP per HD to boot.

I'd say a warlock's invocation would be equally as applicable.
