How often does your gaming group meet?

In high school, it was three or four times a week... unless you count friday afternoon straight through to sunday night as one session.

In college, it was once a week.

Now, once every other week is a BIG commitment.

Hey it SUCKS to be an ADULT sometimes no ?

I started playing when I was 20 only... so I never got those overdoses of RPG that most had... Every year it seems we have less time for gaming... and every year we just somehow manage to get everyone on the same table and killing monsters... I cant even imagine life without gaming once or twice a month minimum.

The group I DM meets about every two weeks, but I play in two others that meet weekly resp. monthly. So I am in about two games per week.

I and a friedn of mine are in three gaming groups, which meet weekly each. I DM exclusively in one campaign, 50% in another, and roughly 75% in the third.

We used to play every two weeks. But recently, it's been about once a month.

I hope it doesn't get less frequent than that.

We shoot for every Sunday but every now and then life intervenes, so i'd say we average about three sessions a month.

During the summer that will usually drop to twice a month.

My group meets weekly. Not every player makes every week, but we very rarely have to cancel games (It helps having seven players) One every few months we'll miss a game, for a few things. EX Total Con, Superbowl,King Richard's Faire, etc. Half of these are related to gaming somehow anyway. We are also all friends, in that we will go out often in between games.

D&D3e - biweekly
GURPS Transhuman Space - every 5-6 weeks
GURPS Cabal - every 2-3 weeks
BESM Anime Fantasy - in "bursts": periods of weekly (or more often!) gaming are interrupted by 2-8 weeklong periods of nothingness...(odd work schedule: one player is a cinematographer)
GURPS Fantasy - on hiatus (used to be monthly)
GURPS Time Travel / Reality Wars / Weird Supers - whenever we feel like it.

The Face-to-Face game I'm in happens every Thursday, ~9 weeks out of 10. Most of us are in University (2 of us are Grad students), so once in a while school work causes problems.

I'm in two email games, one has a response time of 2 days between each update, and the other is on (permanent?) hiatus and has an irregular response time but it averages about every 2 days.
