You aren't half way to dead yet, no reason to give up on an awesome hobby!Almost daily in my teens,
Weekly in my 20's,
Monthly up to mid 30's,
Sadly, now I'm in my early 40's I can't even say yearly as its up to half a decade since I last actually played! Still enjoy reading the old books though.
About once a month; I'm playing in a Pathfinder game.
I kinda lost my DMing mojo about four years ago; and as far as playing I am doing it really to pay back former players who endured my games, and for the fellowship/friendship moreso than the actual gaming.

It's probably true that people who were playing in the 80s are playing less now than they were then.I realise that this is a pretty small voting sample, but, about a solid third of people responding are playing every two weeks or less. What I wonder is if this holds true for the larger gaming public, and, if it does, how has this changed over time?
I know that that information is likely never going to appear, but, it would be interesting. I really believe, and it's mostly a gut feeling, that people play less often now than they did in, say, the 80's. And I also think that this reduction in play time has a very significant effect on how the game is designed.
