I'd ahve to fall into the weaker camp. Almost all fo them have an odd required feat, which effectvely makes them cost two feats. And the more feats printed, the less likely I see anyone to take one of these. Even fighters can be so feat starved these days taht they cannot afford to go this route. Wehn it was jsut PHB and CW, many were gold. Now? meh.
I do wonder about the Complete Mage one. One of my players is going to try it out, and it might be very nice. The wand one is the most problematical, but as I will enforce the actions of putting away and drawing a wand, it probably will not happen too much. As for the second ability, a wizard will be hard-pressed to memorize and pair a matamagic and non-metamagic version of the same spell. And keep them paired. A big loss in flexibility.
A sorceror, on the other hand, should be able to get great use out of the second ability.
