There are two ways I think they can advertise it.
Firstly, by trying to go after the A Game of Thrones crowd. If they do this, they'd have to ratchet up the maturity level of the game though, to something like Pathfinder. Make the art realistic looking - no cheesecake, no dungeon punk, no anime inspired giant weapons and floppy elf ears.
Secondly, they can be very '80s-ish, which based on my observation of young adults fashion, is undergoing a slight revival (blue hair and off the shoulder tops for women, Chris Makepeace hair on boys)
And they should have something like this
