How should I run this contest for a free copy of "The Hamlet of Thumble"?

Hal Greenberg at Mystic Eye Games suggested that I run a contest to give away a free copy of "World of Whitethorn 1A: The Hamlet of Thumble" to one of you.

He said something about having people write up characters or whatnot, but since most people aren't familiar with the setting I'm not sure if that will work.

Any ideas or advice? I'd love to give something back to the EN World community. :)

How about the first person to post a reply to your thread wins?

Shouldn't there be some kind of skill or at least EFFORT involved? :)

It took a LOT of effort to hope someone didn't post that second post while I was typing. Would have just ruined it! :D

But...hmm...some kind of NPC contest would be cool. Those are always fun.

I KNEW that would be the next reply!

Seriously though - a create an "NPC" contest might work - typical Hamlet denizens for instance...

58 Halflings already stated out? Ok, maybe my NPC idea is not such a good one.

We can always fall back on the Haiku theme. HALFLING Haiku's rock!
