How to offer e-book in print?

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone knows a service or vendor that would allow someone to offer their community at-cost, printed versions of a PDF? Talking roughly 250 pages.

Specifically, I'd like to let people get the T13K setting guide printed and shipped to them "at cost" for personal use, without having to take any money myself or having to set it up so T13K has to process a transaction. It's a community after all, not a company.

As far as I know - there are print-on-demand services aplenty, and they don't care how much more than cost you charge, but you usually have to make an initial order of a certain size. After that you can print as many copies as you need. Your best bet might be to get a quote on the minimum initial order from a few companies, go with whichever you prefer, and then - assuming interest is high enough - just take preorders and use that money to fund the initial run.

I can't think of any companies that allow you to split your order and send x number of copies directly to your customers, though, so you'd probably have to charge for shipping as well.

Thanks, but that's not really what I'm looking for. I don't know that there's any such thing as what I'm looking for, but...
