can you take a quickened action during a redied action? Checking SRD...
No, you definitely cannot take both a free action and a standard action as a result of a ready.
However, there is this scenario.
Target is walking/running/charging/whatever down a slope, you ready an action to cast a prismatic wall in front of them at some point, they stop, possibly involving a check, your inititave is now right before theirs. They are most likely out of actions for the round. When your turn comes up you cast grease under them...
Awww, never mind, they took out the note about it possibly not allowing a save when the target is on a slope. Well I think I'd houserule it that way, it's ridiculous for the save DC to be the same wether it is a slope or flat ground.
