How would you do 3.5e in 160 pages?

Nah, thats so that when you read the feat chapter you can fully see what the feat does.

You'll be eliminating things in the combat chapter that tell you what feats improve your chances of doing things also

I've now added the psionic races to the original abbr_PHB_Races_8p.rtf... Total weight is now two pages. I'll try and incorporate Rycanada's excellent additions before posting, but it is getting difficult to spot those changes

Too bad Warforged, Shifter, Changeling and Kalashtar aren't OGL.

Also, given the prevalence of Aasimar, Kobold, Gnoll, Goblin, Hobgoblin, Lizardfolk, Orc, and Teifling characters, I was tempted to chuck them in as well.

As promised: the skills document, as well as I've been able to get it so far. Went from 2 15 pagers to a single 22 1/2, which is not too bad. green_slime, would you oblige me in structuring this, and then I can take another pass at it?

Switch to 4 columns with .2" gutters and then put the tables into a floating box and it fits in 2 pages.

Open Office bombed on my rtf. It's because OO doesn't like how Word creates text boxes. Sorry. I don't really have the time to fool with it. I was just demonstrating ways to shrink stuff. Sometimes 4 columns works well.
