D&D 4E How Would You Like 4e To Be Advertised?

I want to see an ad campaign that consists of buying space on walls, overpasses, fences, etc., and then paying graffiti artists to do scenes--in their own style--of wizards, dragons, and other fantasy icons, with the D&D logo displayed prominently somewhere in the scene. Give lots of creative control to the artists, to allow them to make it authentic. Place them in urban locations that lots of people drive or walk by. Make D&D something that is part of the normal environment of regular people.

Actually I believe that was a spoof ad made by G4TechTV ... or just XPlay ...

I hope they don't advertise it in the back of their own books. Those folks already know about the game and would appreciate an index.



I like the idea posted above about a gropup of kids playing a board game and one of them is like, 'Well, what's off the edge of the board? I want to go somewhere new.'

And how does WoW advertise anyway? I don't think I've ever seen an advertisement for them.

They had the Office Space commercial, which ran on Comedy Central and other basic cable stations.
